I have had such a fun few weeks!

I've shot some amazing families and had my heart melted by all of these little dancers.

Springs Dance Nutcracker!

Hi, my lovies!

I have missed you.

I absolutely LOVE being a mamma but I gotta get back to my photog routine - shooting, editing, posting, repeat :)

I decided to engage your eyeballs with a very fun event that I was lucky enough to photograph.

Springs Dance had their annual Hip-Hop Nutcracker performance in December.

You may not know this about me…or you may…but I LOVE dance.

I love dancing, I love watching dance, I love all things dance.

I. Love. Dance.

You get the idea.

So this project was really fun for me (because of the aforementioned love).

This is not your run-of-the-mill Nutcracker.

It featured brazilian capoeira (a martial arts style dance…click HERE to read more about it), ballet, swing, contemporary, ariel silks, and many many more. 

I love this performance and this dance studio! 

Thank you to Springs Dance for letting me capture this awesome performance and GREAT JOB to all of the dancers that made the performance so memorable!

I hope you, as the viewer, can feel the energy and passion of these dancers and maybe even sign up for a class yourself? Call me crazy.

I had such a fun, and challenging, time shooting the

SPRINGS DANCE

spring dance recital a couple weeks ago!

This was my veeeery first time doing anything like this...which was scary.

I learned so much!

I had a lot of help setting things up and figuring out what the H-E-Barbie Legs I was doing!

It was great to push myself and do something I've never done before.

A huge thanks to Springs Dance and all of these amazing sassy dancers!

The Wedding Breakfast Club!

You. Guys.

Let me just tell you how classy I am pretend to be. 

I attended the first quarterly event of 

The Wedding Breakfast Club :)

The Wedding Breakfast Club is a networking event for wedding vendors in the Salt Lake area.

It was beautifully designed by Perfect Statement Events & Design (remember Megan?)

I was invited to photograph this beautiful event at Market Street Grill and then they fed me!!

The decor made me feel like I was at a delightful tea party....with an eccentric greant aunt....named Millie.

Or something.

I loved it.

The centerpieces were delicate and sweet.

Megan planned every glorious detail and it was simply beautiful.

Huge "thank you" to everyone that came and to Kathy of Market Street Grill for hosting us!
