*ahem* I'm back.....

So as everyone knows, summer is crazy! I've been traveling around like a crazed maniac. Ok, ok, maybe not a maniac, but you get the idea! 

So I'm going to be playing catch-up for the next little while.

I'm so sorry I've been neglecting the blog (at least I feel like I have). I swear you guys are my one and only. I would never do anything to hurt you.....woah, that went to a weird place.

ANYWAY, I hope you enjoy the next few posts. Most of them are along personal lines because of vacations and such, but I absolutely love them - so I just HAVE to share. So let's get this party started....

The first post of the "Melissa's Summer in Pictures" begins with my handsome and oh-so-loveable boyfriend, Alan, and his beautiful daughter, Maddy. We went to Soda Springs for the weekend because Maddy lives in Florida most of the year and Alan thought some farm livin' would be a good experience for her. 

Man, that girl was EVERYWHERE!

She was helpin' my mom water pastures, pickin' peas, swimmin', horse back ridin', four-wheelin'...all sorts of madness! It was so fun watching her learn and explore :)

And we couldn't very well go to Soda without doing a photo shoot....so that's what we did. Of course Alan and Maddy made it so easy because of the aforementioned attractiveness :)
