Fun and professional

Melissa loves her job, and when she is working, so does everyone around her. She brings spontaneity and joy to her photo shoots so there is never a dull moment. Her sessions are creative and well done and the finished photos are beautiful. She has a natural talent for seeing the true beauty in her subjects and is able to bring out the very best in each subject and showcase that beauty. Of all the photographers I've worked with Melissa is the best by far! I asked her to take photos for a large group of professionals and she made it such a fun experience and the photos looked great! She was patient and fun through the whole process and made sure we all felt at ease. Everyone was pleased with how they turned out and several people asked for her to return to future events. Excellent Quality Photos
We have used Humbletakes photography for several family pictures & each time have loved the finished product. I have my kids pictures up in my house & am constantly getting comments on how great they are. Melissa is very easy to work with, fun, & so understanding with specific concerns or requests. Wedding Photos
Melissa took all our wedding pictures - engagements, bridals, and temple pictures and we LOVE them! We get comments all the time about the unique shots we have and the awesome lighting she used. She was so fun to work with. Her personality made taking the photos fun! She got the photos back to us really quickly, which was very helpful. She has also taken some pictures for my family years ago when she was starting out and they turned out wonderfully! I think the thing I appreciate the most is how creative her photography is. She works hard to capture memories in a beautiful way that stands out. What more could someone ask for in a photographer! Fantastic Professional Headshots
Melissa is the only one I trust when it comes to photography. We flew her to Colorado to take the head shots for our company website and they were exactly what we were looking for. She found great, unique backgrounds around our office building, not the stuffy shots in front of the same old backdrops like you see too often. I would recommend her again and again.

Fun
Personally, I'm not a big photo shoot type of person. I always thought they were boring. Melissa made it lots of fun and the pictures turned out great. I will continue to use and refer her if needed because of her energy and skill.

Not just a click of a button
If you think anyone with a cool expensive camera can pull off a good shot for an event, then you haven't put your best face forward! Humbletakes did our engagement pictures and I have never been so satisfied. She knows how to capture real moments: The laugh right after a good joke. The first smile after seeing an old friend. The reason why you love the people you are with. She knows how to get to know who you are and capture it! I only wish she did our wedding shots too.

Personable and Comfotable
This girl deserves 10 stars. She is so good at what she does and more importantly she loves it, and you will feel that as you work with her. There are three things that I need when getting family pictures taken: First, to feel comfortable and not awkward. If you are having a good time, it will show in the pictures. Melissa is the most personable person that I know. When you meet her, you'll be instant friends. Second, to have flexibility and creativity. Getting a good family shot with two toddlers and two anxious parents takes some talent. Melissa was so good at knowing when someone needed a change of pace or something different and she came up with it in seconds. Third, good quality photos. Melissa has amazing talent, knowledge, and experience with all the cameras and technology that she uses. You WILL have amazing photos from this girl, period. I am amazed at the memories that she has captured of our family. Thank you Melissa!

Took Great Pictures for our Office
I hired Melissa to take outdoor pictures for our staff. The pictures are displayed in the lobby of our office and our clients love them! She managed our large group quickly and efficiently and produced some fantastic shots that we love! She was more affordable than other photographers we looked at, and I would definitely hire her again!
