Hey Ya'll!
I got back from LAS VEGAS yesterday!
In case you don't follow me on Instagram (sad..you should - @humbletakes) here's the skinny on what went down.
My brother is a dentist in Colorado. He decided to fly his employees to Las Vegas (Nevada...how many Las Vegas-es are in the world?) for a wild and crazy weekend. Well Sweetcheeks and I live a mere six hour drive away from the aforementioned Las Vegas. I reminded my brother of this fact and therefore was quickly invited to join in the fun. I found out about the trip on Wednesday evening...Sweetcheeks and I decided that we would go Thursday afternoon. Like a tornado I packed a bag for each of us, picked Sweetcheeks up from work, and we were on our way! Clearly the craziness began before we even got to Vegas so you can image the insanity when we were actually IN Vegas....just sayin'.
The drive was pretty but I didn't care. I wanted to get to VEGAS!!!!
You see, before Thursday evening at about 10:30 I had never been to Vegas.
I know, I know it's crazy. Literally everybody I ever told was shocked that I had never been. But alas, it was true. I was a Vegas virgin....a virgin is a hard thing to actually FIND in Vegas but that's another story completely. Anyway - we got to our hotel, got all sassified (this means dressed up and ready to party...I may use this term again so please familiarize yourself with it's definition), and met up with my brother and his entourage (I mean his employees, but entourage sounds much more Vegas-y).
OK. Now that you are all caught up about how we got there I will spare you all the details about the trip. Here are the main activities of interest:
Walking.
Dancing.
Sometimes dancing while walking.
Shopping.
Picture Taking.
Wandering.
Sassifying ourselves (we seemed to do this often...in the morning, spruce up in the afternoon, and then really bring our sassy A game in the evening).
Eating.
Avoiding Herpes (see Instagram feed).
Drinking (not me, but other members of the party so it should probably be on the list anyway).
Watching people stumble into the hotel in the wee hours of the morning (*literally* my favorite part of the trip).
Enjoying time with some awesome peeps.
So now that you got the tails (this means details..most people say "deets" I say "tails"...cuz that's how I roll) you can understand why I've been a bit MIA with posting.
I only shot on film and I am so excited to get the pictures developed - I will have them up as soon as I can!
